The Cornerstone Discipleship Curriculum Guide
Welcome to the Cornerstone Discipleship curriculum guide. The Cornerstone Small Group ministry is committed to five principles: Biblical learning, fellowship, service, worship, and evangelism. To grow in our relationship with God we must strive to study His word, to serve God and others, to worship God, to have fellowship with others, and to share the good news of the gospel.
This curriculum guide was created to support our church in studying the five principles with materials that are biblically sound in doctrine. In addition to the materials in this guide, the RightNow Media site is accessible to all church members after you have registered. RightNow Media has many studies that are bible based.
If you would like to register for Right Now media here is how it works:
- Fill out the online registration form.
- Check your inbox. An email will arrive from RightNow media with a link and further instructions to complete setting up your account.

How to Use this Curriculum Guide
By clicking on the book icon in this guide, you can access the site where the book(s) can be purchased.
If you would like Small Group Ministry support in purchasing resources for your small group, please contact Amy Rose (arose@cstoneepc.com) or Pastor Matt Grimm (mgrimm@cstoneepc.com).
There are many good study guides on the books of the bible that would be accepted. But please obtain approval to use these guides through Pastor Matt Grimm. If the bible study resource is not listed in either this curriculum guide or Right Now media, contact Pastor Matt Grimm to get approval before using. If you have completed a study you especially liked and you feel would be useful to other small groups, please forward to Pastor Matt Grimm for his review to be added to the Curriculum Guide.
In choosing bible study materials for your small group study, consider which of the five biblical areas that the study would fall under: Biblical learning, fellowship, service, worship, and evangelism.
The study materials in this guide have been selected because they support the essentials of faith as outlined by the Evangelical Presbyterian Church (EPC). Cornerstone Church stands in the Reformed protestant tradition of historic Christianity. We emphasize the authority and infallibility of the Bible, the sovereignty of God, and the teaching of Jesus that we must be born again.
Spiritual Health Assessment
The Spiritual Health Assessment measures your health at a particular point in time. It is not a tool to see how you measure up against other people; nor is it a tool to see how close you are to perfection. We all know we’ll never be perfect this side of heaven. Rather, this is a tool that will help you evaluate your spiritual health, and give you direction for developing a plan to bring God’s five purposes for your life into balance.
The results of the assessment should be used by each small group to chart a course of actions for spiritual growth in the five biblical purposes.
